We Got Married Global Edition Season 2

We Got Married Global Edition is a Korean variety show that pairs up idol celebrities to have their virtual marriage. Unlike normal WGM, Global Edition paired idol celebrities from Japan and Taiwan with Korean. After WGM Global Edition Season 1 ended, our long await WGM Global Edition Season 2 has finally here.

Pairing 1(Top): Shinee's Key with Arisa Yagi
Pairing 2(Bottom): Super Junior's Kim Heechul with Puff Guo

As usual, in WGM Global Edition season 2 has two pairings. First pairing will be Shinee's Key with Japanese model Arisa Yagi, and second pairing will be Super Junior's Kim Heechul with singer and actress Puff Guo from the Taiwanese girl group Dream Girls and Just You.

I personally have already watch the first episode, and I really can't wait for the second episode. In my opinion, I like to see Key with Arisa more than Heechul with Guo, but both of the pairing are cute and worth to watch.

Key Arisa Couple: Their cute and lovely moment while capturing photo at beach.
Key and Arisa Yagi is a funny couple. They are like kids, they like to play and get along really fast. They have no communication problem, because Key is quite fluent in Japanese while Arisa know how to speak some Korean too. Both of them are good in control the atmosphere and environment while they are dating. You definitely will not get bore while you are watching them.

Heechul Guo Couple: Sweet photo capture

Kim Heechul and Puff Guo is a cool couple. They are like a matured couple, they are not too aggressive to express their love and they are cool, but very sweet. Unlike Key and Arisa, Heechul and Guo are having hard time to communicate with each other. Puff Guo is not fluent in Korean while Heechul don't understand Chinese too. Although they have communication problem, they are still able to get along very well, just the matter of time. This couple is really funny, you will sure laugh out loud when you see how they use body language and English to communicate.

Lastly, WGM Global Edition is really worth to watch. I believe their virtual marriage life will become more interesting and meaningful in the rest episodes. I really can't wait to watch the next episode. We Got Married hwaiting!

K-Pop MV

K-Pop Music Video

Every time when a Korean group or solo release their songs in album/mini album or even single, usually you will see there's a music video featuring one of their song in album/mini album/single. Unlike English or Taiwanese MV, most of the K-Pop MV will have the performance of sing and dance with theme/storyline.

Girl's Generation "Oh!"
Why K-Pop MV is important to their songs? In my opinion, Korean MV is really useful for promoting their songs. For example, when Girl's Generation released their "Oh!" song, in the beginning I felt that their "Oh!" was really not that good, I was nearly disappointed with their release "Oh!". But then I tried to watch their "Oh!" MV from YouTube, and I started to get attracted to their song. Because of their MV, I kept repeating this song like 10+ times and starting to feel that the song is actually quite addictive to listen. In the end, I felt in love with this song.

If you see carefully, characteristics of most K-Pop groups MV are almost the same. It normally divided into two or three themes. Each of the theme has different dressing, appearance, and scene. Although they wear almost the same in each individual theme, but sometimes their dressing can be different, for examples like: "long sleeve & short sleeve", "slightly color differences" or may be "with tie & without". Besides theme, K-Pop MV is also combination of few parts which are: "group dance", "group show", "group sing", "solo sing" and "solo show".

How can K-Pop MV is so attractive? K-Pop MV plays a very important role in their songs. It's not just the matter of promoting their songs, but MV is also the best chance for them to promote themselves. Hence, K-Pop artists have to show their best performances in MV. Well, when we talk about performances, they're not just singing and dancing, but their movements, expressions and appearance are also counted.

PSY's Horse Dance "Oppa Gangnam Style"
The dance of the MV can be very easy or difficult, but this is not so important. As long as the dance steps are very unique and catchy, people will still get attracted by it. Just like the most popular Korean dance around the world "Oppa Gangnam Style", it's actually not too difficult to dance, I personally took only 1 day to learn by just watching the MV. Although the dance steps look a bit weird and easy to dance, but many people still love it, because it's unique and catchy.

The scene of the MV is also very important to build up the whole feelings of song. Korean is willing to spend a lot of money or efforts on setting up the scenes and backgrounds of the MV. Some of the scenes and the backgrounds from the MV were specially made or built. Sometimes they can be cost more than our expectation.

Apink's Kim NamJoo in "NoNoNo" MV
Appearances are much concerned in K-Pop MV. You will see the best looks of them compare to usual. Normally when they are shooting their MV, the lightings are set to the best direction and location. When the lightings are set to correct direction, especially from the front direct to their face, their face will look brighter and the wrinkles are unnoticeable. That's why sometimes when you watch K-Pop MV, you will feel that they looks much better and it's like they are coming from heaven.

As the conclusion, Korean has their own ways on making music video and we can see why Korean put so much efforts on their music video. Apparently they saw the points how the music video can helps them on making their album more successful. The above are just my opinions and I hope you can understand more on K-Pop music video.

I like Korea!

Korea! I love Korea! Oh why Korea?

Actually I am not Korean, I am a Malaysia Chinese. I started to pay attention on Korea when I was 21 years old. Honestly, I was interested only on K-Pop that time, not Korea. I began to step into the world of K-pop when the first time I watch Girl's Generation (a.k.a SNSD) music video "Gee" on YouTube.

Korean Girl Group: "Girl's Generation (SNSD)"
I was thinking: "why are they 9 members in a group?" That's too many members and I have never seen that many members in a single group. This was something new to me. They are all so adorable, pretty and attractive. In the "Gee" MV, they look like 9 angels wearing in colourful. Their dance are so nice although their dance are not too difficult to perform. By just watching their MV, it can really make my day feel better.

From here, I started to dig out and listen to all of their songs from previous albums. I even tried to find almost everything that related to Girl's Generation, and then I found some Korean variety shows: "Invincible Youth" and "Family Outing 2". These two variety shows started to raise my interests on all Korean variety shows, including Korean dramas.

Korean Drama "You are My Destiny"
My first Korean drama was "You are My Destiny". I watched this drama because YoonA (from SNSD) is the main character in this drama. Although this drama has quite a number of episodes (178 episodes), but I still watched it until the final episode. In my opinion, Korean dramas have their certain of qualities which will never make you feel too bad or bore to watch.

Girl's Generation is seriously a big contributor to Korea. They really helped a lots on promoting Korea into the world. I believe many peoples are just like me, putting their first step into Korea/K-pop because of Girl's Generation.

Korean Variety Show "Running Man"
Unlike the past, I was only paying attention to Girl's Generation, now, I am listening to every Korean songs from different singer and group. I even started to watch many different kind of Korean variety shows like: "Running Man", "We got Married", "Infinity Challenge" and more. Korean really done well on their variety shows. Their ideas are creative, their sound & visual effects for variety shows are also superb and the most important, interesting and fun. If you ask: "Which variety show you feel is the best so far?", I definitely will answer: "Running Man!". "Running Man" is a must-watch Korean variety show. Why? Well, I can't talk about this here, it will be never ending if I list down the reasons in this post. So, it will be better to talk about "Running Man" in another post.

Korean Food "Tteokbokki"
When you watch Korean variety shows, dramas, and movie, you will often see how they eat and what food they eat. In the beginning, I was not interested in trying Korean foods, because they look not that special to me compare to Japanese foods. I started to gain interests on Korean foods when I saw "Tteokbokki" in variety shows. It looks really delicious to me and make wanted to try it so badly. Hence, I went to a local Korean restaurant that originally open by Korean after few days I saw Tteokbokki. I ordered "Tteokbokki", "Bibimbap", "Samgyupsal with side dishes", "Jajangmyeon", "Kimchi" and "Kimchi Pancake". Once I tried all of them, I fell in love of Korean foods. Their looks are not that special, but the tastes seriously unbeatable, they are delicious. From the day after, I started to visit Korean restaurant more often although Korean foods in Malaysia are more expensive compare to local foods.

I really like Korea. I like their cultures, their foods, their living styles, their entertainments, their fashions and their products. Korea definitely is my first choice if I am going to foreign country for vacation. But unfortunately, I still have no chance travel to Korea for vacation yet. I really hope one day my vacation dream to Korea will come true.

My Very First Post - Little Introduction on Me

Hi and hello everyone.

First of all, I would like to mention that English is not my mother language, and I am not fluent in English. I am sure there will be lots of grammar and writing mistakes can be found in my posts. If you found them, please forgive me.

"Nepline Hiltous" is actually not my real name. I created this name based on the starting alphabets of my real name "NH". You might think "So, Nepline Hiltous is your nickname?". Well, I don't know the answer either, because create this name when I wanted to start the blog. I actually have a nickname, will reveal and talk about it in future post.

Don't you curious why am I here? Well, the purpose I am here is to share something useful, interesting stories/facts, my opinions, my thinkings and more. Besides sharing, I am hopping to learn my English and improve my writing skill from here. In addition, AdSense could be also one of the reason why I am here, but let's not talk about this right now.

What do I like? That's a lots, we could probably in the same board. I am a gamer and I like gaming very much. Gaming is one of my main entertainment, I spent at least 30% of my day on gaming. Besides that, I like arts, drawing is one of my hobby. I draw when I am free or boring. Korea! I am attracted by Korea. I like almost everything from Korea: their cultures, their foods, their entertainment and their language.

Lastly, I would like to end my little introduction here, it will be never ending if I continue LOL. Thanks for reading :)
